If you're a young person at the start of your digital journey, you could benefit from the opportunities My Digital Future offers. From funding to industry connections, there are lots of resources to help you on your way to an exciting and rewarding career in tech.
Receiving the bursary means you’ll receive tailored support to suit your needs for 3 years including:
One-to-one and group coaching
Financial support for IT equipment, materials or training
Work placement and mentoring opportunities
Access to the BCS professional community
Are you eligible?
When you apply you need to be

Aged between 16 - 24

About to study or studying a digital or IT-related subject

A UK resident
Fit into one or more of these criteria groups

You are in the care system or have recently left the care system

You are a refugee
-
From a BIPOC/BAME* or marginalised community

You are currently or were eligible to get free school meals

You are a primary caregiver

You or your parents receive income support, income-based job seekers allowance or income related support allowance, universal credit

Your parent/s did not go to university

You are a recent (last two years) immigrant

Your parents/carers are refugees
* Black, indigenous, and people of colour (BIPOC) or black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME)
You may need to demonstrate that you genuinely meet the eligibility criteria.
